Following a transaction with The Altruist Group, which, like New Hope, provides residential support services to people with disabilities in central Indiana, 17 clients of The Altruist Group will transition to New Hope.
The clients were part of The Altruist Group’s Supportive Living Program. New Hope says those individuals will remain in their homes and will receive their services from New Hope going forward.
New Hope also will gain 26 employees of The Altruist Group as part of the deal. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“We are so looking forward to transitioning these new clients and associates into the New Hope family,” New Hope CEO Allison Wharry said in a news release. “We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live their most fulfilling life, and are committed to ensuring our new clients receive compassionate and comprehensive services. We are grateful to The Altruist Group for their trust in us to continue their excellent standard of care. We also are welcoming their employees with open arms, and continuing to grow their careers in a meaningful way.”
New Hope is the largest not-for-profit residential services provider to individuals with disabilities in Marion County, according to the news release.
The organization owns and operates 47 community-based residential homes in Marion and Hamilton counties and serves hundreds of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across 100 worksites.
