Construction on a new apartment community near the campus of IUPUI is now underway.

The Vivio on Tenth, a new 72-unit complex is an addition to an existing apartment building formerly known as The Annex on 10^th.

Indianapolis-based developer Spectra Student Living purchased the Annex from The Annex Group in February 2019. It then decided to expand the footprint and rebrand with the addition of Vivio.

“We’re excited about this opportunity to expand living options for students near the IUPUI campus,” said Justin Farris, managing partner at Spectra Student Living.  “There is a great need here at IUPUI to develop a community tailored to the needs of today’s students.

Spectra says architects designed the new structure to match the original building. Together the two structures will offer a total of 179 units with 1, 2 and 4-bedrom configurations.

All units will be furnished

Plans are to have the new building completed by the beginning of August 2020, in time for the fall semester.
