Near North Title Group adds Midwest offices

Chicago-based Near North Title Group, which has a large presence in Indiana, is adding to its portfolio. The title insurance and settlement services provider has acquired the Midwest operations of Doma, a title insurance company in Miami, Florida.
The deal adds 30 offices and more than 100 employees in Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota an Wisconsin into its network. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
“This acquisition represents a tremendous opportunity for us to extend our reach and enhance our ability to serve clients across the Midwest,” Near North Title Group CEO Dan Fowler said in a news release.
The acquisition brings Near North’s total number of offices to nearly 60 across seven states with more than 200 employees.
“The synergies of our collective management team and office locations made Near North the perfect home for our valued employees and clients,” said Alex Grundhoffer, Doma’s national COO of local branch operations. “Near North’s culture and industry knowledge, especially so given the strong national commercial capabilities, will bring value to our local teams and communities.”
In Indiana, Near North has offices in Brownsburg, Carmel, Columbus, Elkhart, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Geist, Granger, Indianapolis, Madison, Merrillville, Shelbyville, and Vincennes.
