Indianapolis, Ind. — The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Indianapolis, which promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success, is pleased to announce the 2013 Visionary Award winners:
• Indianapolis Choice Award: Gregory L. Wilson, City of Indianapolis Department of Minority & Women Business Development
• Avatar of the Year Award: Tiffany Thompson, DaMar Staffing Solutions
• Member of the Year Award: Janet South, DECO Group, Inc.
• Women Business Owner of the Year Award: Jennifer Foster, Foster Results
In addition, the 2013 recipient of the NAWBO-Indianapolis Entrepreneur Scholarship was presented to Sola Adelowo.
The winners were celebrated for their influence and impact of women entrepreneurs at the NAWBO Visionary Annual Awards luncheon on December 17th. Ericka Flye, WRTV 6 and Gerry Dick, Inside INdiana Business co-emceed the event where over 700 attendees gathered, along with the Lt. Governor Sue Ellspermann, Mayor Greg Ballard and other dignitaries to honor the achievements of business owners and advocates for women business owners in our community.
