NAPA Balkamp Moving to Plainfield

Subscribe NowPLAINFIELD, Ind. - Indianapolis-based NAPA Balkamp has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters from Indianapolis to Plainfield. Financial details of the move were not immediately released, but the company says it will bring nearly 200 employees to the Hendricks County town.
NAPA Balkamp, a subsidiary of Atlanta-based Genuine Parts Co., will move into the former Galyan’s headquarters on Stout Heritage Parkway. The company already has a distribution center located in Plainfield.
“We are delighted to welcome the NAPA Balkamp headquarters to Plainfield,” Town Council President Robin Brandgard said in a news release. “They are an excellent company, and we already have a great relationship with them. Their Plainfield distribution center, which is located in our Airwest Business Park, has long been a source of good, high quality jobs. Locating their headquarters is here is a sign that they recognize Plainfield has the kind of amenities people are looking for."
Town Manager says NAPA Balkamp has plans to grow its business in Plainfield and expects the company to add more employees to its headquarters in the future.
