Rowray is expected to begin her new roles April 1.
In addition to her work at the Indiana Statehouse, Rowray is currently executive director of Ivy Tech’s Career Coaching and Connection program for Delaware and Henry County.
The boards formed a search committee and also used Indianapolis-based executive search firm Smith and Syberg to fill the role. Committee co-chair Kelly Shrock says Rowray is an exciting addition.
“Her experience, leadership, and passion for Muncie and Delaware County will be valuable assets to the community going forward.”
Rowray tells the Star-Press she intends to continue in her House seat and plans to seek re-election.
