Subscribe NowBrent Mosby has rejoined Faegre Drinker as counsel in the corporate practice group in the Indianapolis office. He returns to the firm from software company Jobvite where he served as general counsel and was formerly with Faegre Baker Daniels from 2015-2017.
Over the past two decades, Mosby has gained significant experience as the lead in-house lawyer for three enterprise software companies, a large public pension fund and one of the nation’s largest private homebuilders. He has played a leading role in many M&A transactions, ranging from small deals to multibillion-dollar transactions between public companies. He has led tuck-in acquisitions, corporate carve-outs and cross-border transactions. He has negotiated several transition services agreements in connection with M&A deals, and he has practical experience leading post-closing integration activities.
Mosby also has experience preparing and filing SEC reports, advising companies on disclosure requirements, and guiding executive teams and boards of directors through strategic and corporate governance challenges. Of note, he has served as lead in-house attorney on an initial public offering, a follow-on offering and several private placements.
Mosby earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
