MJ Insurance announces name change

Indianapolis-based financial services firm MJ Insurance announced Tuesday it is changing its name to The MJ Companies to better reflect its expanding range of services.
The company said its offerings have grown to include retirement planning, leave and absence management, compensation and total rewards consulting.
In addition to the new services, MJ specializes in commercial and personal insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. The company said the expansion shows its “growth, innovation, and exceptional client service.”
“MJ Insurance was founded with a clear mission: to empower organizations, making them more efficient, effective, and smarter,” CEO Michael Bill said in a news release. “This mission has driven us for nearly six decades, and it remains our commitment. However, as we look to the future, we recognize that to stay true to our Purpose, we must embrace evolution.”
MJ Companies has local, national and international clients, with offices in Indianapolis, Denver and Phoenix.
