More than 200 applications for individuals, companies and organizations — a record total — were submitted in categories including New Startup of the Year, Innovation of the Year and Rising Star. Inside INdiana Business creator and host Gerry Dick is a nominee in the Community Champion of the Year category.
The April 28 awards ceremony and gala at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis will mark the 19th year of the program. The Mira Awards are presented by Angie’s List and Salesforce and will honor "The Best of Tech in Indiana."
TechPoint Chief Executive Officer Mike Langellier says "this year’s record class of Mira Award nominees further demonstrates that growth. The 55 total nominees competing for top honors in the six different companies categories have collectively hired 1,150 people and very nearly doubled their revenue from $3.9 billion to $6.8 billion over just the past three years! We look forward to celebrating them during the Mira Awards gala on April 28th with the rest of the tech community."
In addition to the awards gala, Mira Award-related events include public voting for the People’s Choice Awards for Best Tech Space, Best Tech Event or Best Tech T-Shirt or Swag until March 15 and the Winners’ Circle event, which allows current and past Mira Award Winners to meet face-to-face with venture capital and private equity firms.
