MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - Michigan City homebuilders may have it easier finding supplies after the reopening of Mid-City Supply’s store there.
Mid-City Supply is a plumbing and HVAC wholesaler based in Elkhart, but has nine locations across Michiana and employs 145 people. The company’s store in Michigan City was under renovation but held a reopening on Thursday.
As part of the remodeling, the new store added about 8,000 square-feet and cost $1.6 million.
“It was time for a fresh look, and we’re proud to do our part to help beautify the city,” CEO Jordan New said in a news release.
Michigan City officials also celebrated the reopening of the store saying it will benefit businesses looking to get parts for their own operations.
