Metal fabricator acquires two Wisconsin companies

Solv Metals announced this week its acquisition of Wisconsin Metal Parts and Lean Manufacturing Products, both based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Financial terms of the acquisitions were not immediately disclosed.
Wisconsin Metal Parts specializes in services such as CNC machining, laser cutting, metal stamping, tool and die making and sheet metal fabrication. Lean Manufacturing products specializes in the production of storage racks, carts, tables and other custom storage solutions for industrial needs.
“The expertise and innovative thinking brought through this partnership present new opportunities to enhance our metal fabrication portfolio focused on providing our clients with a one-stop manufacturing partner,” Solv Metals CEO Mark Webb said in a news release.
A spokesperson for Solv Metals told Inside INdiana Business says the two companies have a total of nearly 140 employees, and there will be no negative impact on any jobs.
With the acquisition, Solv Metal’s headcount is now about 225 employees.
