Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott has appointed Kevin Smith corporation counsel for the city. He is a founding partner in the law firm of Smith Sersic and has been practicing law as a litigator and trial lawyer for 25 years.  Kevin has served as attorney for the Hammond Park Department and the Hammond Port Authority and has counseled the City of Hammond for the last 15 years.
