Subscribe NowA new opioid addiction treatment center is now open and serving patients as part of the Recovery Works Martinsville campus. Martinsville Treatment Services provides medication-assisted treatment for adults who have become addicted to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids.
“It is no secret that opioid addiction has had a devastating impact in communities throughout Indiana,” said Martinsville Treatment Services Executive Director Kenisha Peden. “At Martinsville Treatment Services, patients receive the personalized care and compassionate support they need to end their involvement with this dangerous drug, so that they can live much healthier and more hopeful lives.”
The center’s opening marks the completion of the Recovery Works Martinsville campus, which is the first campus of its kind in Indiana. In addition, Recovery Works Martinsville also offers inpatient detoxification, residential addiction treatment, and general outpatient counseling, among other services.
“With the opening of Martinsville Treatment Services, individuals throughout south central Indiana can now access a full continuum of care in one convenient location,” said Pinnacle Treatment Centers CEO Joe Pritchard. “The Recovery Works Martinsville campus reflects Pinnacle’s mission of removing barriers to treatment and providing the customized services that can transform individuals, families, and communities.”
The center says medication-assisted treatment incorporates prescription medication and therapy to alleviate the symptoms of opioid withdrawal.
