Martin Garrix To Headline Indy 500 Snake Pit

Subscribe NowThe Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced DJ and producer Martin Garrix will headline this year’s Indy 500 Snake Pit concert on May 29. The lineup of electronic music artists set to perform during the 106th Indianapolis 500 include deadmau5, Galantis, Steve Aoki and Yellow Claw.
The speedway says performances will begin early in the morning, but specific set times have not been announced yet. the concert was not held for the last two years because of the pandemic.
This will be Garrix’s second performance in the Snake Pit. He was also in the lineup in 2016.
The majority of the lineup was scheduled to perform at the 2020 Snake Pit concert before it was canceled. deadmau5 is the only new addition to this year’s concert.
“The Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light is one of the most popular concerts of the year on the global EDM calendar,” said IMS President Doug Boles. “Anticipation is even higher for this year’s show after a two-year pause due to the pandemic, so we can’t wait to welcome this incredible, star-studded lineup and their fans back home again to the Speedway for a day filled with fun and epic memories.”
The speedway says coolers will not be permitted in the Snake Pit this year. Water hydration stations will be available for concert attendees.
