The Boone County Economic Development Corp. says the power tool manufacturer, which moved from California to Lebanon in 2006, will invest $9.3 million into the project and create up to 65 jobs.
The expansion will create an additional 80,000 square feet to Festool’s facility in the Lebanon Business Park. Chief Financial Officer Brian Goldthorpe says the company is excited for its continued growth in Boone County.
"The qualities that drew us to Lebanon 11 years ago have only improved over the years, and were a key factor in our decision making process," said Goldthorpe. "We appreciate all the support we have received from the community.”
The company did not provide an estimated time frame for the project’s completion. The move comes three years after Festool doubled its facility with a $7 million expansion.
