Logansport Company Planning Expansion

The company will invest $7.2 million to purchase new manufacturing equipment and add 40 jobs at its Cass County plant.
The Logansport City Council is considering a five-year tax abatement on the new equipment, with a vote expected December 5. If approved, Small Parts says it will proceed with hiring plans for the jobs which will average $17 per hour.
"Small Parts has been a leading corporate citizen in Logansport for many decades and this project continues to keep the corporation on a glidepath for continue growth and prosperity," said Logansport Mayor Dave Kitchell. "Small Parts is a shining example of what can happen when a locally-owned company remains loyal to its community and the community reciprocates."
Small Parts, which was founded in Logansport in 1958, supplies custom metal stampings and assemblies. The company has four manufacturing locations, including two in Mexico.
