Subscribe NowPeople interested in working in the growing life sciences manufacturing sector in Bloomington can apply for a free, three-week program that prepares students for jobs. Registration for the Biomanufacturing Technician Apprenticeship program has been extended until Saturday.
The classes begin Monday and run through July 30 at the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences on the Ivy Tech Bloomington campus.
The program was developed in partnership between the Hoosier Hills Career Center, Ivy Tech Center for Workforce Alignment, and area employers to build the workforce talent pool for companies such as Catalent, Boston Scientific, Baxter, and Cook Medical.
The program graduated its first cohort of 35 students in October and 28 graduates were hired directly by local employers. Click here to learn more about the program.
