The firm invested $500,000 in the Legacy Office Centre, which also houses several new startups.
According to a news release from the city, the building in the Southtown Centre shopping area has allowed LegacyOne to consolidate its two previously rented offices and storage spaces into a single location with room for growth.
LegacyOne was founded in 2015 by CEO Linda Golden and specializes in residential and commercial real estate, construction, and property preservation, among other services.
“LegacyOne is an important part of the growth and success being experienced in southeast Fort Wayne,” Mayor Sharon Tucker said in a news release. “Linda and her team are making a meaningful difference in the vital areas of real estate, construction, and property management. The investment that’s been made will leave a lasting impact on our entire community.”
In addition to the LegacyOne HQ, the facility houses startups Partly Whimsical, At Home Healers and TruCaring. It will also soon house the Realtist Association of Northeast Indiana.
The building also features a community space and conference room, both of which are available for public use.
“This project began in partnership with the City of Fort Wayne under the leadership of the late Mayor Tom Henry,” said Golden. “We are saddened that Mayor Henry is not here to see the vision realized, but we do welcome Mayor Tucker, whose support as our 6ᵗʰ District Councilwoman at the time was also instrumental.”
