Indianapolis-based LDI Ltd. has hired Amelia Patel as chief of staff. She has more than 14 years of operations experience. Patel previously worked at Teach For America, a national education nonprofit, where she supported the organization’s finance and strategy activities. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member, teaching elementary and middle school on Chicago’s west side.

Patel earned a M.A.T. from Dominican University and received a B.A. from Arizona State University. She serves on the Board of Directors of St. Nicholas Early Learning.

She will work with LDI’s executive team to manage internal operations. Her role will encompass corporate governance, investor relations, and human resource responsibilities while also providing oversight for office administrative functions.
