The third-party logistics, warehousing and distribution provider says the facility will service its pharmaceutical clients requiring cold and ultra-low temperature storage where temperatures reach below -40 Celsius.
The company says the new location will be specially designed to manage a wide range of investigational materials, finished goods, and samples storage.
“We are excited about the expanded capabilities our new facility in Whitestown, IN will provide to both our existing and future life science clients including an expanded focus on business continuity planning for pharmaceutical supply chains and a focus on enabling the success of cell and gene therapy research pipelines”, said Langham Logistics Chief Executive Officer Cathy Langham.
Langham says the cold storage warehouse will be positioned to enable delivery of medicines anywhere in the U.S. in under 24 hours.
The company is also opening a pharmaceutical storage facility in Plainfield.
