Jasper Hospital Announces Deaconess Affiliation

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper has announced an affiliation with Evansville-based Deaconess. The organizations say the move will allow them to work together on efforts including population health management and physician education.

Deaconess says its comprehensive population health initiative allows coordination between caregivers so they deliver "the right care to the right person at the right time in the right place." The health provider says it is the only initiative of its type in the region.

Memorial Hospital features 30 specialties and 20 health care centers in seven counties. It employs more than 1,500 people.
