Sacramento, California-based Inszone Insurance Services has acquired Financial Arts, though financial terms are not being disclosed.
Financial Arts was founded in 1974 by Jack Fagen, and is currently led by Chief Operating Officer Dan Fagen and Chief Financial Officer Valerie Fagen.
The firm primarily focuses on benefits and Medicare Solutions, according to an Inszone news release. Dan Fagen said the firm had been searching for a larger partner that would allow them to offer more services to their clients.
“Inszone’s move into the Midwest, with a hub for benefits conveniently located in the Chicago area, aligned perfectly with our strategic goals,” Fagen said in the release. “What impressed me even more was the local presence they maintained. I had the chance to connect with a recently acquired agency in a neighboring state, and the fact that I was greeted by someone from that location spoke volumes about Inszone’s commitment to keeping things local.”
The acquisition marks Inszone’s first foray into Indiana, and CEO Chris Walters said the firm is committed to maintaining Financial Arts’ local presence.
“With this collaboration, we aim to offer even more to clients through the robust resources that Inszone Insurance provides,” Walters said in the release. “We’re particularly pleased to have our Executive VP for Benefits, Kari Thies, situated nearby in the Chicago area, providing additional support as needed.”
Inszone did not respond to a request for more information on the acquisition from Inside INdiana Business.
