Ivy Tech selects finalists for small business pitch competition

Subscribe NowIvy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw has announced the three finalists for its 2022 New Venture Competition. The champion will receive up to $40,000 in start-up capital for presenting the best business plan.
Launched in 2011, students and alumni from Ivy Tech Fort Wayne and Warsaw are eligible to compete in the competition
The finalists and their small businesses include:
- Ginny Ritchie, general education and entrepreneurship – Ginny Rose Studio is a massage and skin care studio.
- Rachel Nally, psychology and entrepreneurship – Local Apple Cart is a local food truck that is planning to open a shop at the Electric Works campus in Fort Wayne.
- Javier Gasnarez, entrepreneurship – Let It Glow Detail LLC is an auto detailing service.
The three finalists will pitch their business and community judges will vote on the New Venture champion at the event. The awards dinner will be held October 13 on Ivy Tech Fort Wayne’s Coliseum Campus.
