Ivy Tech, Rising Star Partner on Tuition Program

Subscribe NowIvy Tech Community College is partnering with Rising Star Casino Resort in southeast Indiana in an effort to help the attraction’s employees continue their education. The school says it will help Rising Star employees pursue a degree while avoiding many out-of-pocket tuition expenses.
Ivy Tech says it will provide Rising Star employees with guidance and financial assistance and let them defer billing until the end of the semester. The Achieve Your Degree program is open to workers who have been with the resort for at least six months.
The school says Rising Star is one of the first companies in southeast Indiana to take advantage of the statewide assistance program. Ivy Tech offers business-related degree and certificate options including accounting and business administration.
Ivy Tech Assistant Director of Admissions for Adult Strategies Denise Sedler says the program "enables employees to gain valuable skills for career advancement and gives employers an in-house pipeline of talent to grow their businesses."
