ISU names presidential search committee members

The committee will be responsible for vetting and interviewing applicants before sending finalists to the ISU Board of Trustees. Illinois-based executive search company WittKieffer is employed in the search.
“Indiana State University is well positioned to achieve remarkable milestones and continue to expand on its function as a vital asset to the Wabash Valley, the state of Indiana, and beyond,” Board Chair Bob Casey said in a news release. “We are committed to identifying ISU’s 13th president who will share and lead this bold visionary outlook for the university.”

Taking on the role in January 2018, Curtis is the university’s 12th president — the first woman and the second ISU alumnus to serve in the position.
The Indianapolis Business Journal honored Curtis as an Indiana Women of Influence last year and was included in the 2023 Indiana 250 list of the state’s most influential business leaders.
