The 100,000-square-foot Ironworks Hotel Indy features 120 guest rooms and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
The $20 million hotel, located next to the Ironworks mixed-use apartment and retail complex near the Fashion Mall, has begun welcoming guests and will hold an official grand opening event October 21. In addition to the guest rooms and suites, the building includes the first Indianapolis location for Blue Sushi Sake Grill and two restaurants from Cunningham Restaurant Group, called Rize and Provision. It also features a professional massage parlor, Massage Heights.
"We are ecstatic to open our doors in Indiana and provide guests with an exceptional boutique hotel experience," said Rob Gerbitz, chief executive officer of the hotel’s developer, Hendricks Commercial Properties. "Every decision for this hotel, from the architecture to the aroma to the bed sheets, was made with our guests at top of mind. We want Ironworks Hotel Indy to be a must-visit for local residents and those traveling to the city, and we can’t wait to serve our visitors."
Hendricks Commercial Properties is also behind the Bottleworks District, a $260 million mixed-use development at the site of the former Coca-Cola bottling plant in downtown Indianapolis. A representatives from HCP will appear this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television to talk about both projects.
