IPFW Names Potts Chief of Police

He most recently served as chief of police and director of public safety at the University of Mississippi. Potts is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and the FBI National Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in sociology at Saint Joseph’s College. Potts has 27 years of experience in law enforcement, including 18 years at the Purdue University Police Department with roles in community policing, patrol operations and administrative operations.
