Indiana Wesleyan University is partnering with Cincinnati State to offer students from the Ohio community college system greater access to Indiana Wesleyan’s academic offerings.
In a press release announcing the partnership, IWU said Cincinnati State students will be able to more easily transfer up to 90 credits towards an online Bachelor of Science degree. In addition, students transferring in to IWU can get a 15% discount on all online bachelor’s and associate-to-master’s programs, the school said.
“IWU is proud to establish a partnership with Cincinnati State,” IWU Vice President of Strategic Enrollment and Partnerships Andy Miller said in a written statement. “Together, we are expanding access to higher education, creating pathways to rewarding careers, and supporting the growth and success of students and the region. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to empowering lives through education.”
IWU notes the discounts and preferred transfer consideration only applies to students transferring into online programs.
The new partnership with Cincinnati State mirrors one IWU announced in December with Ivy Tech Community College. In that arrangement, Ivy Tech transfers into IWU can also receive a 15% discount if they’re already completed their associate’s degrees.
IWU says both partnerships come with a special $250 per-credit-hour rate.
