Indiana restaurants among Wine Spectator award winners

This year’s awards, which honor the world’s best restaurants for wine, recognize nearly 4,000 dining destinations around the globe.
The awards are assigned on three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award.
Of the two dozen Indiana restaurants on the list, two received the Best of Award of Excellence. None received the Grand Award.
“The restaurant industry is growing and thriving, with restaurant openings surpassing pre-pandemic levels for the first time. To take advantage of the uptick, restaurateurs are investing in their wine programs,” Wine Spectator Editor and Publisher Marvin Shanken said in a news release. “Restaurants that make wine a priority are what the Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards program is all about.
The Indiana honorees are:

- Janko’s Little Zagreb Restaurant (Bloomington)
- Kankakee Grille (South Bend)
- Lighthouse Restaurant (Cedar Lake)
- Peterson’s Restaurant (Fishers)
- Prime 47 Indy’s Steakhouse (Indianapolis)
- Roselily (South Bend)
- Sangiovese Ristorante (Fishers)
- Seasons 52 (Indianapolis)
- Sullivan’s Steakhouse (Indianapolis)
- The Capital Grille (Indianapolis)
