While financial details of the move were not disclosed, the company says its previous location will remain in operation as its business office headquarters.
IPT says the new, 5,500-square-foot location on Lahmeyer Road features a full array of solar panels that will provide the entire building with renewable energy. A spokesperson for the company tells Inside INdiana Business any excess electricity will go back into the electric grid.
“Our relocation and expansion of the clinic was done to better serve our patients and community while providing the same great service,” Chief Operating Officer Jon Smith said in written remarks. “The addition of solar to the building was important to us from a sustainability standpoint to be environmentally responsible in our community.”
Indiana Physical Therapy was founded in 1988 in Bluffton. The company has 21 locations throughout the state and employs nearly 200 people.
