Indiana Chamber announces board chair, new members

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowThe Indiana Chamber of Commerce board will be led by newly named chair Devin Anderson, the CEO of Indianapolis-based investment firm E&A Companies, the chamber announced Friday.
Anderson has been a member of the board for the past decade. The chamber said he has spent time working on several local, state and federal political campaigns early in his career.
Anderson will be the first board chair to work with Indiana Chamber President and CEO-elect Vanessa Green Sinders. She was named to the role in September, succeeding the retiring Kevin Brinegar.
“We know firsthand about Indiana’s strong business climate because we often relocate businesses to Indiana from other states like California, New York and Oregon,” Anderson said in a news release. “The importance of keeping our climate as one of the best in the country is why I’ve been such a committed volunteer.”
The board will also add 22 new directors. They will serve three-year terms through fall 2026. The new members are:

- Jon Codalata, director of business solutions for the Indianapolis Colts (Indianapolis)
- Janmarie Connor, president/CEO at Connor Painting (Indianapolis)
- Kristin Craig, executive director for the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce (Terre Haute)
- Carol Curran, president/CEO at Phoenix Data Corporation (Indianapolis)
- Darron Farha, vice president/general counsel at Valparaiso University (Valparaiso)
- Jeff Halbert, partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP (Indianapolis)
- Jack Hingst, president at Mid-America Beverage (Kokomo)
- Dr. Eileen Hulme, chancellor at Indiana Wesleyan University (Indianapolis)
- Kate Kamel, director, manufacturing engineering at Boston Scientific Corp. (Bloomington)
