Indiana ‘B-Schools’ Shift Spots in National Rankings
The BBCG says the selection doubles the total it can invest in Indiana-based companies.

Subscribe NowA national publication’s ranking of MBA programs has switched up metrics, significantly affecting where many business schools have traditionally placed. Three universities in Indiana are on the Bloomberg Businessweek list for full-time programs and two part-time programs were ranked.
Indiana University Kelley School of Business in Bloomington dipped 12 spots, the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business was down two positions and the Purdue University Krannert School of Management fell 10 spots compared to last year among full-time MBA schools nationwide.
For part-time MBAs, the Butler University College of Business was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the new metrics, moving up 32 spots. The Kelley School of Business at IUPUI’s part-time MBA program decreased two spots compared to last year.
Businessweek says its new "sharper focus" is designed to be "the most effective ranking yet for helping career-oriented students choose an MBA program." It considers weighted factors including employer, alumni and student surveys, job placement rates and starting salary.
