The service, scheduled for three times per week, will run through mid-April.
Tampa is IND’s third nonstop Florida destination, joining Fort Myers and Orlando. Frontier now offers five nonstop flights out of the airport, including service to Las Vegas, which launched in July. Southwest Airlines also offers service to Tampa.
Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez says the "continuous pipeline of new and additional nonstop flights increases the airport’s value to the public."
IND boasts 49 nonstop destinations and averages 143 flights daily.
