Ransburg has led a 33-year career in finance and has been with Huntington since 2016, most recently serving as vice president of business banking.
“Scott has consistently been a top performer, and I’m pleased to have his wealth of experience in the Indiana market,” Huntington CEO Steve Steinour said in a news release. “I know he will continue driving growth and supporting our teams to deliver great customer service.”
Taking on the role means Ransburg will be involved with local business development and the implementation of the bank’s $40 million Community Plan, Huntington said.
Breen retires after 20 years at Huntington and 44 years in the Indianapolis banking industry.
“Joe Breen has provided tremendous leadership for our colleagues and the central Indiana community, and has been a key to Huntington’s success in this market,” Steinour said.
In addition to his work at Huntington, Ransburg serves on several boards, including the Indy Chamber’s Business Ownership Initiative and Lynx Capital. He also is a member of Bankable’s loan committee; the organization is a not-for-profit assisting new business leaders with micro-loans.
