HUD Awards Indiana Millions in Affordable Housing Grants

HUD says the funding, which comes from several grant programs, will support local affordable housing efforts.
The grants are part of $5.5 billion in funding to local affordable housing programs throughout the country. The grants are provided through HUD programs, including the Community Development Block Grant program, Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids, Home Investment Partnership Program, Emergency Solutions Grants and Recovery Housing Program.
“These core programs provide our local partners the funding they need to provide homes and vital services to some of our neighbors in need,” said Acting Secretary Matt Ammon.
