Our partners at The Herald Bulletin report the first phase of the project is expected to be partially complete in March.
Casino parent Caesars Entertainment Inc. (Nasdaq: CZR) is building a new entrance, expanding gaming areas and adding a bar in the high-level gaming area as part of the first phase, according to the publication.
When complete, guests will have access to 150 new slots, as well as 16 table games and high-level gaming.
Officials broke ground on the expansion, which will add a total of 35,000 square feet of space, in May. The project is expected to add about 100 jobs at the venue.
The second phase of the project will see the current entrance demolished and new gaming and office space built in its place. Director of Nongaming Operations Joe Noel told the publication that phase will be completed in early fall.
