Honda Reveals New Civic

Subscribe NowHonda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC has started production of the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan at its Greensburg plant. The company revealed the first car during a ceremony Tuesday. Local and Indianapolis high school students interested in STEM careers attended the event. The students had the opportunity to meet with Honda officials and associates. HMIN officials say the celebration included 2,300 associates.
“The Honda Civic is one of the most successful and enduring models in our company’s history. Our team of Indiana associates is incredibly proud to build this new and innovative Civic Sedan and we are committed to using our experience to deliver the tremendous quality and reliability that our customers expect,” Honda Manufacturing of Indiana President Bob Nelson said.
The company says it has invested nearly $97 million during the last three years in the Greensburg facility to adopt new manufacturing processes and technologies.
