hhgregg Removes Riesbeck’s Interim Tag

Riesbeck joined hhgregg in 2014. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer as well until a replacement is appointed. Before coming to the appliance, electronics and furniture retailer, he served in leadership roles for companies including Sun Capital Partners and Marsh Supermarkets.
In a release, Riesbeck said he is excited for the opportunity to work with his team to "continue to build on this momentum to achieve our company’s growth and profitability goals."
He succeeds Dennis May, who announced his resignation in February after leading hhgregg since 2009. He had been with the company for 17 years.
hhgregg currently has 226 stores in 20 states in addition to its online retail presence.
