Haynes International names first COO

The company said Losch will take on all commercial and operational activities for Haynes in this newly created position.
“It is an honor to step into this role as we embark on this exciting next phase of growth for our company,” Losch said in a news release. “I am immensely proud of Haynes and our people, and the success we’ve achieved together.”
Losch has been working for Haynes in various roles since 1988, most recently serving as vice president of sales and distribution. The company said he will continue to lead the sales and distribution team while a search for his successor gets underway.
Haynes also announced the retirement of David Stobel, vice president of Kokomo operations.
Stobel is stepping down in early 2025 after six years with the company, and over 40 years in the alloy industry.
Haynes International specializes in developing and manufacturing high-performance alloys used in the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, and chemical processing industries. The company has manufacturing facilities in Kokomo, IN, Arcadia, LA, and Mountain Home NC.
