Kazi Elected Councilor For Undergraduate Research Organization

Subscribe NowHaseeb Kazi has been elected to a three-year term as a councilor in the Mathematics and Computer Sciences Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research. He is currently chair and professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics at Trine University.
A national organization representing more than 1,000 colleges and universities, the CUR supports and promotes high-quality research and scholarship for undergraduate faculty and students. The organization works to provide research opportunities at institutions service undergraduate students. The CUR is made up of 13 divisions, each of which has up to 24 Councilors. As a Councilor, Kazi will be involved in decisions that lead to new developments in the programs, meetings and benefits CUR offers.
His term will begin at the close of the organization’s annual business meeting on June 30. Kazi has served on CUR’s Strategic Pillars Task Force on Internationalization since 2013.
