The facility, which will be owned by CGKY Real Estate Holdings, will be part of the Gateway Office Park being developed by Louisville-based Hollenbach Oakley. Developers declined to disclose the financial cost of the project to Inside INdiana Business.
Being built on a more than three-acre site at River Ridge, the 32,500-square-foot building will include more than 11,000 square feet for Jeffersonville-based Landmark Surgical Suites, which will have an orthopedic-focused surgery center with three operating rooms.
An additional 6,000 square feet will be allocated for a Louisville Hip & Knee Institute office and clinic, with the remaining space being made available for lease on the first and second floors.
Greg Oakley, managing partner of Hollenbach Oakley, called the project “transformative” for the area.
“This development underscores our vision to bring cutting-edge healthcare, office, and research facilities to the region, and the Gateway Office Park serves as an ideal setting for this innovative development,” Oakley said in a news release.
Construction is expected to be complete this fall. The building was designed by DKN Architects, and construction is being led by Kadean Construction in St. Louis.
