In addition to new logos for both institutions, Grace revealed a new slogan for the college: “Created for More.”
The branding was revealed Monday during a ribbon cutting ceremony on the Winona Lake campus, led by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Grace President Drew Flamm said the new brand comes at a crucial point for the institution, which is anticipating a record number of incoming students this year. He said Grace Theological Seminary is also the third-fastest growing seminary in the U.S.
The new Grace College logo features a shield with a stylized “G” on it, which is being adopted from the college’s athletics department.
The new Grace Theological Seminary logo mirrors the shield and contains icons of a cross, a crown, a candelabra and a Bible opened to Ephesians 2:8-10, Grace’s institutional verses.
“The decision to implement two distinct logos for the college and seminary is for the sake of clarity,” said Flamm. “We want our prospective students to understand what we have to offer, whether it’s a traditional student, an online student or a seminary student. The new logos give the college and the seminary distinct marks to build their own brand recognition, while remaining unified in mission and values under one Grace.”
Grace said the new slogan was drawn from Bible verses Ephesians 2:10 and 3:20.
The college and seminary are located in Winona Lake, just southeast of Warsaw and about 130 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
