The center, expected to open later this year, will treat conditions including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease.
The NeuroCare Center will also treat migraines, epilepsy, cardiovascular disease and neuromuscular disorders. The system says it will offer advanced diagnostic, telehealth and rehabilitation services as well.
The groundbreaking ceremony is set for 10:30 behind the Goshen Physicians Family Medicine & Urgent Care clinic. Goshen Health Chief Executive Officer Randy Christophel and Goshen Physicians neurologist Dr. Jody Neer will take part in the event.
Goshen Health last year ended its affiliation with Indiana University Health. At the time, Christophel said the move allowed the system to focus on "the mission of improving the health of our communities."
