Gary Jet Center Adding Corporate Flight Center

Subscribe NowThe Gary Jet Center has announced plans for a new corporate flight center at its Fixed Base Operation at the Gary/Chicago International Airport. Construction on the facility is expected to be complete in July will result in the addition of a small number of jobs.
The GJC is partnering with Gary-based project management firm LEE Companies on the project. The facility will feature a glass-walled lobby with views of the recently-completed $174 million runway extension, as well as multiple pilots’ lounges, a business center, conference room and kitchen facilities.
"This Corporate Flight Center is the crowning piece in the Gary Jet Center’s goal of providing the finest flight experience in the Chicago aviation market," said Wil Davis, chief executive officer of the Gary Jet Center.
The new facility is the latest addition to an FBO at the airport. In October, the Gary/Chicago International Airport Authority Board approved a $20 million expansion for B. Coleman Aviation, which includes up to five new hangars.
