Carmel-based Fuzion has promoted Barry Staldine to president and chief executive officer. He most recently served as chief operating officer of the senior insurance management and analytics company.

Staldine began with Fuzion in 2015 as vice president of business management before being promoted to COO. Before joining the company, he held executive positions with health analytics and insurance companies, including Indianapolis-based Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM).

"This industry is facing some steep hurdles," says Staldine. "Pricing of policies relied on a complex set of variables and the actualities have been very different than the original assumptions." He says he believes Fuzion "can make a positive impact" and help carriers optimize their performance.
