The partners said the facility, set to open in 2025, will also provide orthopedic urgent care, physical therapy and imaging services.
The new clinic will be located at the corner of U.S. 231 and Cumberland Avenue. Franciscan and OrthoIndy plan to break ground on the facility this spring.
“The Greater Lafayette area presents a fantastic opportunity for Franciscan Health to expand our footprint in orthopedics,” Franciscan Health Western Indiana CEO Terry Wilson said in a news release. “We have an outstanding partner in OrthoIndy and look forward to providing best-in-class services and care in a state-of-the-art facility for our patients right here in Tippecanoe County.”
OrthoIndy currently has 11 physicians at its existing Lafayette Orthopedic Clinic at 1411 S. Creasy Lane.
“This is a real win for patients,” said Dr. Mark Page, who will join the new clinic along with his counterparts. “I’ve been serving the Greater Lafayette community for more than 20 years now, and the level of care we’ll be able to provide with this new facility will be unmatched.”
The partners declined to provide details on potential new jobs and their financial investment in the new facility to Inside INdiana Business, but said more information would be available in the coming weeks.
