The casino resort will create 350 to 400 new jobs once the hotel opens in early 2023.
The Pokagon Band announced construction of the 23-story, 317 room hotel in September 2019. It is also adding 45,000-square-feet of gaming space to the existing 140,000 square feet. The casino expansion is expected to open later this year.
The facility will also include a spa, convention area with a ballroom and meeting space, and an outdoor swimming pool.
“We are very excited to begin receiving applicants for positions to support the expansion of Four Winds South Bend,” said Darcy Davis, senior vice president of human resources for Four Winds Casinos. “We have a variety of part-time and full-time positions available to support our operations.”
Davis says both part-time and full-time positions offer benefit packages, and some positions are eligible for a $500 sign on bonus.
The recruitment center is in South Bend’s Erskine Plaza. It will be open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Four Winds Casino is looking for staff to work in both the gaming area and the hotel. The Pokagon Gaming Authority also operates three casinos in Michigan.
