Fort Wayne’s Ambassador Supply Buys Orgain Building Supply

Fort Wayne-based Ambassador Supply, an affiliate of private equity firm Ambassador Enterprises, has acquired Tennessee-based Orgain Building Supply. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Ambassador says the acquisition builds upon its continued growth and reach of offerings.
“We are excited to announce that the acquisition is now complete,” Brad Crawford, chief executive officer of Ambassador Supply, said in a news release. “Orgain has always served its customers with quality and responsiveness, and that will not change.”
Ambassador says Orgain will maintain its current employees, which includes 90 people in Clarksville, Tennessee. The full-service building supply company has been serving the greater Nashville area for 100 years.
“We look forward to our continued growth in Clarksville and surrounding counties in this new chapter joined with Ambassador Supply,” said Hunter Orgain. “Orgain Building Supply will continue to strive to take care of our contractors and customers and will always stand behind our slogan, ‘Service is our most important product.’”
Ambassador Supply is an investment and management company in the building sector.
