Greenix Pest Control has acquired Fort Wayne-based Bamboo Pest Control, though financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
Greenix already manages locations in Bloomington, Fishers, Indianapolis, Lafayette, and Merrillville. The company said the acquisition of Bamboo expands its coverage to more than 180,000 households.
It was not immediately clear how many employees Bamboo Pest Control has or if any jobs in Fort Wayne would be negatively affected by the deal. Multiple requests for more information were not returned.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Bamboo team to the Greenix family,” Greenix CEO Bob Nilsen said in a news release. “This new partnership works seamlessly with our footprint, and our corporate cultures mesh perfectly.”
Greenix employs more than 1,000 people across its entire footprint.
