Phase 3 involves additions including a new economy parking lot exit and a sidewalk connecting the economy and long-term lots.
The overall project involves the construction of a new terminal entrance road, designed to streamline the flow of traffic for passengers and guests coming into the airport. FWA Executive Director Scott Hinderman says it will also give the airport the option of future expansions of the passenger terminal building and parking lots.
Monday begins the third of six phases of the project. Future phases will involve more parking lot entrances, curb and gutter placement and surfacing and markings. All construction is expected to be complete by the end of September.
